Hi,
My name is Sarah. I am 39 years old and live in Katy, TX. I originally grew up in Minnesota and moved to Texas 12 years ago. I am married to a wonderful man Domonik. We have been together for 7 years and married 5 years this month. I have a 10-year-old son named Gage. We just bought our first home together last month. I am a Senior Lab Technician in an R&D Lab for Cameron Drilling systems. My main job is to conduct testing on the material before it can be used to make parts for the oil rigs. I have been with Cameron for 11 years now and love my job. I learn something new every day. We have 3 dogs, Gizmo, Gracie and Gus (did you notice we have a "G" theme for names in our household haha) and a hedgehog named Spike. I named my blog "Achieving Goals At Any Age" because I am a firm believer in you are never too old to achieve any goal you want in life. I have been out of high school for 21 years now. I have always wanted to go to college but either could not afford it or the biggest reason was fear. I feared that I was too "old" to go back to school, could I be successful going back to school and earn my degree, or could I handle working full time, being a wife, mom and running a household while going back to college. Ever since my son was born I made a promise I would get my college degree. I hate that it took 10 years to finally start this journey, but the key thing is that I finally did it. I finally faced my fear. Yes, the journey may be hard at times, but looking at my son reminds me why I am doing this. I want him to see that his mom did all that she set out to do.
